AMERICA'S TOP PSYCHIATRISTS
For over three decades, first in San Francisco beginning in 1976, then in Colorado where he was born and raised, and now in Arkansas, Dr. Stein has been practicing clinical psychiatry, psychoanalysis, and forensic psychiatry. He has provided effective courtroom testimony and expert forensic psychiatric opinions in Psychiatric Evaluations [Psychiatric IMEs] and consultations for plaintiff and defense attorneys in well over 100 cases with numerous depositions and qualified testimony. Clinical work has continued to be the majority of his psychiatric practice, so he remains at the forefront of clinical psychiatry, not just forensic work.
Dr. Stein's areas of expertise include both criminal and civil forensics. Criminal evaluations have ranged from Competence to Stand Trial to charges of Murder in the First Degree. One Attempted Capitol Murder case was evaluated in Carroll County, AR. We were able to get an NGRI ruling.
